I've actually been wanting to talk about the laws of power. I've met many people who follow his book like religion or at the very least entertain his laws as part of their psyche, and they are all cringe inducing try hards and (after booze) confide in me they are miserable because they feel wretched and loosely connected to the world. I think Greene is a hack and would like any one to refute me

There are rules that really rub me the wrong way. The 'always surrender' one to maintain a rep pretty much retards you from gaining any experience, and always get others to do the work will leave you in the same, incompetent boat. There's actual advice in there somewhere but this whole book is teaching fragile people to become even less sturdy and alienating anyone with half a mind for human interaction. fuck.

Half the laws contradict each other. It's a fun read honestly but anyone who actually takes it to heart is just a moron or is someone trying to figure out the world and is still very insecure and unsure of their place
