>Art is dead

Our generation will spawn no work of any historical merit. The creations of our time will be worthless in one hundred, five hundred, one thousand years time. No one has anything of value to say anymore, any good story to tell, or fantastic vocabulary to say it in. Why attempt to create at all?

maybe we should be less obsessed with historical merit, I don't think there was ever a generation that was so obsessed with leaving a trace than this one,

maybe the greatest people who ever lived, never left a sign of their existence

The internet has given too many stupid people the ability to express their stupid onions, and platforms full of like minded retards to express them on. Take this website for example.

Nigger, you can't possibly know the things you claim to know. The fact is that neither you nor anyone else has any idea what the fuck is gonna be considered great literature in a hundred years, let alone a thousand years. So you start from this dubious factual assertion and then you (illegitimately) conclude a value judgement (therefore creating is not worth it). But your conclusion simply doesn't follow. Should we stop writing if we knew for a fact that the universe was gonna explode in a hundred years? Fuck no, that would be pretty beta. And the most lamentable thing is that your flimsy claim makes you pessimistic and causes a self-fulfilled prophesy: if all writers thought like you, well, yes, we would probably not create something great. Fortunately, that's not the case.

I literally know what posts you made before this one, stop hating the today's world as if is any different from 2000 years ago, people lead banal and meaningless lives even before agriculture and just because YOU don't have nothing to say doesn't mean the world is dying.
