How can you write a basic story without knowing who the protagonist is
and 3 is a shit meme
5 and 6 should not be seperate

>>11851321
That seems like a good balance of uselessly vague and exactly right.

What does it mean by publish and why does it take 1 hour?

>> No.11852248

>>11852241
manual printing/stapling

>>11852241
that's how long it takes to get a good answer in your "where do I publish my short story" thread on /lit/

A lot of times, the protoganist that the author thinks is the wrong one. And a different character is really the one moving things along/more interesting

Would the schedule for working on a novel be similar? Beside taking longer of course.

pretty much. I'm now on my 10th hour of figuring out who the protagonist is

>teaching creativity LMAO
The funniest thing of all is that the people who teach these things usually aren't even writers, they're professional writing teachers ...

Just wrote it and then rewrite and edit until good.

>> No.11852581

>>11851321
Fuck no. Almost anything good you write will be a revision of something you wrote at least a year ago. Even if we don't include the time in the oven, step number 6 should be at least 100 hours all on its own, and 3 shouldn't get completed until after that.
