if you put those 4 together it makes sense. Decline is the memeist of them since it's not as empirical, to put it mildly, but we have to account for the fact that 'culture' cannot be reduced to these mechanical conceptions, in the sense that when a new religion is founded a genuinely new element occurs in reality, and this religion is what drives the culture of the civilization through the stages it takes that can be explained by the first 2 books. The book on racial differences is necessary to explain the further differences between varioous peoples.

If you want to divide Spengler into smaller groups it works as well too, like the religious idea of smaller political organizations like the Mongols who just massively took shit over but never forged a Spenglerian Culture. The mongols can also be see form the Biohistory perspective of high V low C epigenetic effects. This would not be a prime symbol, but still a cultural creation of a specific form. id ont remember if Spengler even touches on the Mongols.

The evolution of civ and Biohistory are not racist though. The former is by Quigley who is fairly respected if not a very prominent figure, and takes a very empirical look at how civilizations form and collapse. The second is about epigenetics, and how the development of infancy and childhood impact the behavior of the adult. This book blew my mind honestly, in the way it relates this to how societies funciton, and how they can change so rapidly even though the genetics of the people is not really different. This fits perfectly into the Quigley framework. Spengler can also be demystified and put in that framework to some degree, but Spengler is fundamentally a sort of idealist.
