Whats Lit's opinion on the sci-fi genre's stabs at postcolonialism? I'm wrapping up my masters in Lit with a dissertation on it and i gotta say, the selection in this category by authors from colonised countries is disappointingly weak.Aside from the occasional short story (most of which are wrapped up in So Long Been dreaming) there really isnt much to go on. Bit of a bummer to focus so much of war of the worlds, hitchhikers guide to the galaxy etc but if any of you have suggestions im open.

>Gush about how great he is for being black and brining a strong post-colonial voice to the stale, boring world of yucky old white sci-fi.
