What are your favorite books about bettering yourself, improving life etc.?

Some I can mention that has stuck with me are:
>The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck
>The 48 Laws of Power
>Leadership and Self-Deception: Getting Out of the Box

Anything you would recommend?

Books are fun but they're just distractions, join your local volunteer fire department as an EMT or Fire candidate, work at a soup kitchen, go to an elderly home and host an activity or talk to people there. Go to the gym. Talk to people and learn their stories and perspectives without being an autistic /pol/tard. If you play an instrument well see if you can collaborate with a local hospital to play in their chemo wards. Tell your mum how much she means to you. Get a prisoner for a pen pal. Be creative.

I think there are maybe 2 or 3 books in a lifetime that actually completely change one's life/outlook. Mine were The Recognitions, 100 Years of Solitude, and The Untethered Soul. it might seem like basic/cliche shit from the outside but the Untethered Soul may improve your life an enormous amount
