Not at all. Christianity was a jewish social virus that elevated weakness and egalitarian values as revaluations of Roman values that promoted strength and fortitude. Modern liberalism, which jews also have by far the heaviest hand in promoting, is a modern version of that slave revolt ideology and it is destroying the west now just as Christianity did Rome back then. Jews are civilization destroyers, and their main weapon is ideology that weakens the host nation/people. From Egypt to Rome to today, it's what they do as nomadic conmen who can't create anything on their own.

Christianity bans all revolt against earthly power and the egalitarianism you want to see there doesn't exist - it is, however the case that God doesn't need us and can replace us (=equality) if He so wishes. Equality didn't extend through nations or between classes and sexes. You can't replace the holiness of a nation or that of a man. Only God can do so.
It is when you dehumanize that you treat people equally.

Once people had power and money they could get the land too.

Believe me, Christianity did seriously undermine the Empire establishment but foreign adventures on two fronts was already tenuous, and then when the German tribes showed up fleeing harassment from raiding tribes from central Asia, the Roman politicians refused to let them in so it became a three front war now with Guerrillas.
