but the fucking summer, it is too hot here, so I can't write a word.

Drink some iced coffee and just do it. I know how you feel, I spent the last half of the summer trying to get a good start on my doctoral dissertation and I felt outright debilitated for a few days when my AC when out. It ain't proper thinking weather in my neck of the woods during the summer. If it's too hot back at your place, go to a coffee shop or something. But I've gotten where I can't get much done in those sorts of locations.
