i was at work early the other day so i stopped in the liberry and sauntered to the hippy shit section was planning to skim some burroughs to burn the clock but then for some reason i picked up an anthology of amiri baraka (leroi jones) and i skipped right past all his gay poems and sampled some of his prose, overlooked and underrated i would say, then again i read it for like ten minutes, but it was enough that now ima have to go back and read the whole shit
