Never posted on this board before. Unfortunately my prof in psych 1 (the one about the self, reading philosophical concepts and theories, not the biology of the mind one) is too lazy and just leaves papers for us without explaining stuff in detail. What good books or papers can /lit/ recommend when it comes to the human psyche or something similar?

Thanks. First day he actually told us it was his first time teaching, at some point he just gives us work and doesn't have classes for the next few meetings. I'm just glad he isn't ridiculously demanding.
