Hey /lit/, do you like short stories? I have a Literature final tomorrow, and my professor sent the class 2 possible questions coming on the test.
>Compare and Contrast the monologues of The Devil "Young Goodman Brown" and The Misfit in "A Good Man is Hard to Find" (interspersed in the final fourth of the story.)
>Discuss the importance of "Had Young Goodman Brown.....meeting?" In your discussion, include "allegory," "predestination," and "omen" and tell me how these terms relate to the theme of the story.

Sounds dumb, but I've done it before for Philosophy and Biology and it has worked wonders. Legit got some great points and perspective in both.
