>tfw I publicly overpowered my professor's IQ yesterday when I used the words "noisome," "eldritch," and "ichor" in a casual classroom debate
>tfw I've read more books than her and understand them better
Any books for this feel?

I've already read Stoner. The part where Walker shuts down Katherine is emblematic (means representative) of what I'm looking for

This, the fact that it lays it on so thick and obvious, and yet fools so many, is what makes it fun to observe.

Have we collectively ascended to the point that the only good bait is bait so bad that its intentional shittiness and laziness is the true bait, and that falling for it can rustle people so much that it becomes in itself a part of the cooperative baiting process? Is this the world we live in now?

We have move past the troll trolling trolls phase. Now it is trolls being obvious so that other trolls will pretend to fall for the bait. Once they pretend to fall for it the people who call them out for getting trolled are the ones not in the joke. But the joke can go even further than that, who knows if the people telling other people they have got trolled are actually trolling themselves.
At this point i don’t think there is much discussion left on any 4chan board, just layers on layers of trolling, we are a onion.
