started with a simple language trainer for 30 bucks to get a fundemantal understanding, then just got a dictionary and went on translating shit like kids' books, tv magazines and lyrics/texts/books sentence for sentence. i also paid around 10 bucks for a language app, but that turned out to be more like a simple gimmick for on the go. and then subtitled movies and tv series.

russian is real fun, alone learning a new alphabet is a nice experience. i might not be able to master it, but reading your favorite stuff in it's original language is worth it. i'm also planning a trip to russia, unlike germany and germans i actually have a thing for russian culture.
