Bronte has one brilliant novel and a handful of good poetry.

Austen, on the other hand, has three absolute masterpieces which are just as good than Bronte's one (Pride and Prejudice and Emma being better). Her influence is far deeper and wider-reaching than Bronte's, as good as Emily and her sisters were.
