Yes HBO's Girls is one of the finest works of television ever produced, especially S5. No, you are not "edgy" because you think it's "sjw propaganda."

Look up the Intentional Fallacy (Michael Beardsley) or just read Ross Douthat: he's got a whole column on Girls as the encapsulation of post-patriarchy America. Shoshanna's Japan sideplot is gorgeous, the characters have real arcs, and treatment of issues like paternal rights in abortion cases is evenhanded.
