I'm sick of you lil faggots and your memes.
It's one of the four chinese classics, so it's out of your league anyways. Don't even bother .

Water Margin and Red Chamber are absolutely GOAT, and fully deserve their status.

I am not convinced about RotTK. It's good, don't get me wrong, but in between it's got a lot of incredibly boring battle recital.

Is there a guide to pre-14th century Chinese literature and philosophy? I want to study the history, philosophy, and literature of the Chinese civilizations, similar to Start with the Greeks but more like Start with the Shang or something. I don't know much about Chinese history or literature so any help would be appreciated.

this
Three Kingdoms problem is that it tends to drag out on battle segments.
Journey to the West is a kek sometimes with the mockery of taoism and very enjoyable.
Red Chambers is similar to War and Peace, in some aspects.

The Analects and The Tao Te Ching are the starting points I've seen recommended on here before. But I'm no expert.
