/lit/, have you ever dreamed of fucking off somewhere for a month or so, purely to write and read and be enmeshed in writing and reading?

I think it might be nice to go somewhere cold and foggy in the autumn or winter for a while with a bunch of books. This seems terribly Millennial of me, I suppose, but I can't resist the impulse, all the same.

This picture does something strange to me. I’ve always dreamt of some wintry escape that isn’t cold, where the sky is a gentle orange and all is silent and mountains loom in the distance, where I am alone and there’s a chorus softly singing far away and I can see the stars or even planets, and where there is peace and quiet in the most literal sense. This resembles such an aesthetic.

I dream of fucking away to somewhere in general.
I know it's not really realistic though, too many requirements must be met before I have a chance to do so.

I probably won't be able to leave for years, life doesn't afford many pleasures and you have to be grateful for what you have already.
