I never said anything Anne wrote was the high point of English prose. I prefer her stories to the other two (which is simply my personal opinion), but as far as how high I put her compared to other non-Bronte writers, she's pretty low. And Orwell, while again not the best writer in history, wrote some pretty amazing things. Still, throwing him out of it, you'd still have to convince me Wuthering Heights is better than all the rest of English lit, which I'd never believe.
