Was Socrates a Jew? He seems really subversive and the charges against him seem pretty valid considering what he was doing, which seems like very typical Jew behaviour.

How could he be something that didn’t even exist at the time? I know the whole “oh man jews suck” and “man culture of critique is so good” joke a staple of 4chan but don’t you get tried of it? Like do you not take a break from the computer to actually attempt to fight your boogeyman?

No, but you are actually onto something. He was a symptom of decay, maybe a valid one even.
But from where we are in history now, and looking back at him, he seems innocent and pure, compared all that came after.

Socrates was a sign of decadence - as in, he existed because the moral categories and assumptions of fifth century Greece were in disrepair. His obsession with the definition of words like "courage" and "excellence" and "virtue" reflects the fact that these words - and what they referred to - had become so bizarre and ambiguous... an inevitable effect of dramatic social change. These people still used the words of Homeric Greece, despite living in a totally different world. The conduct of Homeric heroes would be anathema to the civilised Greeks who venerate them (consider Alcibiades). Probably a contributory factor in Plato's skepticism of the ability of artists to teach authentic virtue, which, again, is primarily because artists, like politicians, statesmen and priests, can barely identify the supposed goods they proclaim to disseminate.

Anyway, an interesting point of comparison is that /pol/ has extreme difficulty identifying what it is that composes the Western/white/European/etc. culture that must be defended against subversion. /pol/ is another confused carrion feeder.

He was trying to agitate his own nation to achieving greatness again. He was living in the aftermath of a war that destroyed it. He was also a veteran of that war. He was also attempting to make moral relativism intellectually unfashionable for the general public. Very much unlike a jew.
