So I'm sure most of /lit/ isn't caught up on the situation with SCP, however long story short is that tumblr and reddit are in control if it now, the former more so than the latter. They now have a huge transgender and furry thing going on now, so /x/ has started anew with RPC.
If you don't know what SCP was at all, it was some horror fiction that started on /x/ back in 2008 and had a huge influx in popularity around 2012, and over the past 6 years, has slowly attracted the tumblr crowd until now where tumblr is the majority, including all the admins and moderators.
So some on /x/ were wondering if we could have one thread on /lit/ as well, since there are probably quite a decent amount of people here who know about SCP, and more importantly, there could be good writers. If you like horror fiction and the format that RPC uses, we'd love for some writers from /lit/ to help and hear your ideas.
The point of this thread is to see if /lit/ would be okay with an RPC thread or an RPC general

There's a little over 900 people who joined the site, I highly recommend checking it out even if you don't plan on writing anything, although I encourage you to give it a try.

Post something in /sffg/, they're probably the only type on this board that'll care. I never liked SCP much and I don't think you're going to get much sympathy for your shitflinging with tumblr from anybody here except lost /pol/acks.

We just wanna write spooky horror fiction and build our lore, and I felt like /lit/ might have some decent writers that might be interested. I doubted /lit/ and expected to be told to fuck off, but decided I'd just make a thread

Everyone on /lit/ dislikes tumblr shit but only retarded children see themselves as battling for the internet against them
SCP was always just a style of creepypasta, I don't really know how the mods of the wiki could fuck that up with furry shit
Either way I think most of /lit/ grew out of their internet short fiction days but I do remember mine fondly. I doubt you'll see much enthusiasm about writing for it now.

>Politicizing fucking SCP

Get out

>> No.11391110,1 [INTERNAL]

there's an SCP that turns you into a furry, and another one that's an alien satellite that identifies as a transgender woman that likes homestuck and runs a tumblr blog written by a transgender woman that likes homestuck and runs a tumblr blog. After being criticized for being a self insert they said it wasn't. also someone parodied the SCP in the comments making fun of it, and was warned by mods for being transphobic and told that if he did it again he'd be banned. RPC has strict rules about no forcing political agendas, regardless of if it's left, right or center
>>11391110
the reason RPC exists is because SCP got politicized and the writing quality has dropped tremendously, RPC is completely apolitical and the creator and community has made that very clear. We're doing the oppisite
