Surely I'm not the only one that thinks 'Lolita' is more of a "great american road journey" book than pedobear fapfic? Nabokov doesn't really delve into graphic exploration of acts, though the mindset is well explored.

I thought the road trip aspect of the book was the most boring part of the story. Almost as if Humbert was deliberately trying to prove his innocence by boring the "jury" with a long story wherein absolutely nothing happens.

I thought it was quite cinematic, showing that the 'new world' that 'old world' HH was traveling through a land thaat had already began to degenerate, that what he had sought to escape, he found out on the road. Also like how his 'illness' wasn't going anywhere, it would just find new forms.
