Two problems here. First is that the church dogmatists are deep into mediocrity and life denial, something that's only gotten worse with time, not better. And second Nietzsche also shit on Christianity because he knew that it wouldn't hold up under the weight of materialistic though that was a product of science. He knew that the truth seeking ethic was going to be turned against the system that created it.

And he was right

Christ wasn’t a dogmatist. - and Nietzsche would have loved Christianity if people were building cathedrals to glorify God. - just didn’t completely understand the other, penitential side of Christianity which is why he hated on Pascal.

Yes and no. In BGnE he says exactly what you're saying, that the Christian church will inevitably roll over instead of trying to fight tooth and nail. But it was also clear to him that God cant survive the scientific method.

Yeah and stupid people never understand what he was even saying with that because they haven’t actually read Thus Spoke Zarathustra. - it’s a lament because the wise prophet goes into town only to be ridiculed because they can’t stop blinking. It’s social commentary. He was just saying that God was no longer the value-determiner for society at large at that point in time - and he was right about that.

I haven’t read his entire corpus - so I’m not sure where he talks about the scientific method. - but the Catholic Church could have addressed that issue but he lived in the Protestant part of Germany

Well there’s a couple ways. Everybody knows subjective consciousness is non-material - quaila and what not. You can also study the doctors of the church who have pretty good answers for a lot of things. Or you could just cheekily show everybody 2000 years of documents regarding miracles stored in the Vatican archives and ask ‘how do you explain that?’ - and when they say it’s all just superstitious coincidences laugh in their face.

Objectivity is only when we meet face to face to discuss what’s going on in our individual realities to form a consensus that agrees with our individual perceptions.
