Nah, there's only so much time so don't continue if you don't want to. However if the book is considered "important" then I'll just finish it even if I'm not really enjoying it.

Nah. I generally pick up between two and 6 books at the library and pick one or two, and return the excess the next week. Even in cases where I really love a book, like with the Hamilton biography, sometimes I know it will take me too long to get through. I put it on my wish list, and return it. Hopefully I'll get it for Christmas and be able to work my way through it more naturally.
