I mostly feel exicted, amused or mildly happy when l read, usually just relaxed. Say Blood Meridian, I found some of the scenes really amusing like when they speak to the mexicans and the injuns, all the times when they start a gun battle for a slight provocation. I felt excited during butchers crossing when Miller finally leads them to water, remember feeling really happy when they spent half the day just lying on their backs in the water. I felt like hitting my balls when l read about pris stratton pulling the legs off of a spider in Do Androids Dream, l also felt attracted and then lonely during her scenes with isidore. When I read a canticle for leibowitz, I remember feeling sad when Francis died.

Its just whenever a novel is based in a city or urban area or safe countryside where all the novel covers are peoples feelings about their children, each other, their family, their economic hardship, their marriage, romance or family loss I just feel indifferent if not slightly depressed to what they describe aside from being bored.
I remember feeling more emotional when l read novels as a child, especially at the end of them.
