probably depends on the love. circumstances define love, it's an abstract, and is difficult to define properly. when each of us looks to our personal definition of love, we're going to make different value judgements.
from my point of view, it's underrated. love requires sacrifice for another, and i would say there is an overwhelming amount of selfishness that outweighs sacrifice.
of course, idealism is a dangerous thing to explore. if everyone suddenly loved each other, the world would likely be worse than before, simply due to interference, prime directive and all that. you understand, champ.

Norm obviously depends on where are the people from. A large portion of 4chan userbase comes with the first world, liberal, fairly well-off background. With such a background, Christianity is not the norm. In other words, whether we want it or not, 4chan defines itself relative to the "progressive" and "intellectual" modes of the American pop-culture, and with this, Christianity becomes a countercultural thing.

It's not really convoluted. Think of it like this: what kind of people would you want to offend the most? It would be, one, stupid people. Two, people who are sure that they are completely in the right. And three, people who are "winning", at least in the moment (I'm talking about USA, remember).
