Would read them with Move Along on repeat 10/10

i appreciate how the series used animals instead of the typical elves/men/dwarves and how it showed how the different factions of mossflower interacted throughout the ages. Its been a long time ofc so idk how much of it is nostalgia

What else exists that is similar to bionicle with the whole bionic-tribal-alien-fantasy-epic thing? What exists that is stylistically similar? I love the look of bionicles and the whole atmosphere of it. Did lego really come of with something this distinct and unique? Is there anything else like bionicle in any medium?

The whole Metru Nui arc is actually a pretty gud introduction to Greek tragedy it seems, and following it comes Voya Nui and the promise of the coming resurrection which is utterly stifled if I recall and then the quite apocalyptic setting of the penultimate arc before the Divine's physical incarnation in the universe, or something like that. And the whole simplicity of the beginning Mata Nui arc could be seen as a primitive struggle for good and evil among early tribes and civilizations, with the big bad being the incarnation of original sin if I've ever seen it. Guess /lit/ autism and Bionicles should have never mixed but it truly has the deepest lore, considering how I can still remember this shit and relate it to some more "sophisticated" texts of world literature years after the fact

Help me /lit/, I'm trying to think of a book series involving a bunch of kids in a dystopian setting. It was a trilogy, the titles usually involved some synonym of fire or flame, one of the kids was named Hunter, the president was a pedophile and the plot was very "Children of Men"esque.
