How to pirate books for my Kindle 3? I downloaded a ton of stuff from http://www.nautilus-solar.net/SandyGunfox/ but when I put it in my Kindle/documents folder it doesn't show on the device. A free copy of the Koran I downloaded in .mobi format shows though.

I can read the Game of Throne series in .mobi format now but I can't read .doc and .html. Pdf works fine but it's absolutely unusable on the small screen.

You'll have to convert those to .txt

Meh, I was afraid of that. Isn't there a program to easily convert .rtf, html and doc to .mobi so they keep formatting? I tried Mobipocket Creator but can't seem to get it to just produce a single .mobi file.

Disregard what I just said. Just converted Ken Follett's World Without End from .rtf to .txt. Looks great on the Kindle screen.

Maybe I got lucky but that book is all I wanted right now.

Thx.

i use calibre and it is really easy to use for throwing on my kindle and i am a total noob when it comes to most computer shit

stanza might be better, but i have no reason to try it out. anyway i suggest calibre OP. you can just send your books directly to your device and it will ask if you want to autoconvert them as you do

Calibre was exactly what I was looking for. Well, it's way more than I was looking for.

Can't thank you guys enough.
