I'm a wage cuck myself, and while I can afford to show up drunk at work and get a paycheck worth more than 3 average salaries in my country my objective in life is making enough money so that I can be neet why my books, movies, albums and booze.

Get used to focusing for a long time on a text, it may be hard, but just remember that if you are really set on becoming well-read you're going to need to disregard stuff like video games, or at least relegate it to a small time allotment per day.
It's gotten easier for me, in the beginning I started with the Greeks and could only slog through like 40 pages of the Iliad a day. Now I can do 100 easily and I'm finishing books in 2-3 days on average.
tl;dr get used to focusing for a long time on one thing, eliminate distractions

Get some actual books. No matter how hard I force myself to read I just cant look at my phone or computer screen for longer than 15 minutes at a time. Dunno if its the same for you.
