in that it was refreshing to see someone oppose Zizek and even make him panic slightly (https://youtu.be/_OAWRinR6GM?t=2760, this exchange especially really puts Zizek on the spot). But Self did this by adopting a cynical non-position where he gets to ask questions but not have to make any answers. One of the reasons why he comes off as the winner in this exchange is just that he's a lot smoother than Zizek so his evasions end up looking like provocations (like for instance when Zizek says, "Here's the problem with you" at which Self lies down like he's about to be analysed, which shifts away the focus from a criticism of Self's political position).

But also he ignores Zizek self-proclaimed project, to ask the right questions, and make demands of him which don't relate to his project, effectively blaming him for the status of the world, to the tune of "why do you talk about the world if can't solve all its problems?"
