I suffer from don deep rooted bitterness. Stemming from a couple bad relationships over the past 10 years. I am looking to re-enter the social scene, but need to fix myself.

I want to somehow rid this unconscious bitterness I have .

Recommend be some reading material to help me regain empathy, trust, compassion, etc.

How to win friends is a great book to know how to get people to like you. It will also turn you into a stepped on listening station and make you hate 95% of the people in this world. The other 5 % you'll really like though. They probably read the book too
