The teacher's union comes to mind. However I'm in grad school and the union has been massively beneficial. They've negotiated for better health insurance and will go to bat for you if the school is trying to make you do unpaid labor that violates their contract, or refuses workplace accommodations that they're legally required to provide. I've known people who had to rely on the union to back them up when the administration was trying to get out of its responsibilities or get free labor. Fighting against that sort of thing is difficult to do on your own and your employer will roll over you.

I suspect you haven't spent much time in the workforce.
