School ranking in general are completely worthless because they don't actually measure the performance of teachers and gets. Instead they focus irrelevant shit like how many books are in the library or how many square feet of classroom space the school has. It doesn't matter if that classroom space is rarely used or that its more efficient for libraries to focus on new technology rather than having books that never get used. The best schools according to these rankings are typically the biggest wasters.

The UC schools for example just instituted a really fucked up policy last year that double grad students' workload by splitting all their classes into smaller sizes without increasing pay.
