This is an idea with definite appeal. In fact I'm surprised it hasn't been done more, more often, and more famously.

I guess the DragonRiders of Pern pretty much has it covered. Not sure what you can get out of people riding dinosaurs that you can't get from people riding dragons.

The cover art is OK; the title isn't anything special IMO.
