Hey /lit/, why are you so full of hatred and bitterness?

>> No.1059235

have you ever met a nice hipster?

>> No.1059236

Because you broke my heart.

because just like any other forum on 4chan people are generally assholes because they are anonymous and don't have any responsibility with what they say. even tripfags are anonymous. i mean seriously, who knows stag just because his triptag has the name there?

i try to be nice though but i get trolled into being nasty with others all the time. the rudeness is perpetual. however, once in a while you'll have an awesome discussion with another anon and it makes wading through the bullshit worth it. i've had some really interesting convos here even with all the crap and thus /lit/ is my home.

Seconded. I like living in /lit/, I have a nice garden and a shady tree and a book.

>> No.1059340

i'm not, unless i feel like being a prick. it's just joking though, even if you are some sort of retarded platonist.

What about neo-platonists? are they okay?

I wish I knew why this board was so hostile

My best guess would be that /lit/ has a very small group of active browsers who have been educated to the point where they discriminate against virtually everything, and a fair number of bona fide trolls able to leave a larger-than-usual footprint beacause this board is so damn slow.

So basically, the worst possible combination. And we have off-topic shitposters who occasionally make things fun, but at the same time stir the pot and generate trip hate like the black plague

Some random t-shit maker app that /b/ fiddled with maybe a month or two back. Ask them, not me

I think you're analysis is probably pretty correct. I love this thread, but then I see things, AND IT JUST MAKES ME SO ANGRY!

I try not to be but there're only so many times can respond to the same threads with the gusto and benevolence you did the last twenty times you saw it. I actually think /lit/- despite the speed of the board- has some of the most helpful of friends. I've certainly learned enough here and picked up enough read suggestions to warrant the time spent. Plus I've learned I have an interest in public reading because of it; and it's a nice way for me to unwind.
