Hello /lit/

I am composer and I like to set poetry to music in the classical tradition. I am often stymied in this endeavor by a lack of poetry to draw from. I was wondering if you could help with your vast knowledge of literature by referring me to poems and poets that you think would be best. Contemporary is better. Onegai shimasu.

Read the Anthologist by Nicholson Baker. This is discussed among other wonderful things. Truly great book.
