After doing some digging into theology and philosophy and liberal psychedelic usage, I arrived at a rough approximation of this guy's philosophy. Is 'Ethics" worth reading? Has anyone else who has gone down this rabbit hole have any useful advice?

Yes, Ethics is incredibly tedious because it is structured like a geometric treatise. There is a lot to it, I'd reccomend reading the SEP essay, Bertrand Russels entry and then Deleuze's incredible little book on him.

Is he really not memeing?

It's just a demanding piece of writing that's going to require some fortitude and patience to read in full. My prof's advice to me the first time I read it was probably the best I could give you:
Accept the fact that most of it will go over your head the first time but take notes along the way, especially with vocabulary.
