The first book I ever red was "The Paul Street Boys". Do you remember yours ?

I don't remember the exact book, but before I started going to preschool my grandma taught me to read in Russian and we read fuckloads of short kids' stories but unfortunately I don't have most of them anymore.
My favorites though were The Rabbit's Cottage (about a rabbit who gets kicked out of his house by a fox who tricks him), The Silly Little Mouse (about a mouse who doesn't like his mom's singing voice and demands she finds other animals to sing to him, eventually he gets eaten by a cat), and this one Russian version of Pinocchio that came with a cassette of someone reading it.
First English book was probably How do Dinosaurs Fall Asleep

Don't worry . I used to receive lots of books like that as well till the age of 11 and surprisingly enough I still have the majority of them . They are mostly short stories with some kind of teaching such as the "Pink Bear" or Aesop's Fables. But I don't consider them since my grandpa red them for me and my sister.

At school? I don't remember. On my own, it was probably a compilation of short Sherlock Holmes' stories, good book.
