I got Zoobooks. I also got these other things, I think it was something to do with National Geographic maybe? You ordered little fold out things that gave you info on everything from black holes to blue footed boobies and then you kept them in a giant binder. I liked those.

Oh my god it's so true. We were poor as shit and lived in base housing. No zoobooks for us.

My parents were actually rather on the poor side... but still they still bought me many Zoobooks. I still have most of them back at my mother's house.

I had many, many books that were very similar to Zoobooks.

That being said, I don't think I ever had Zoobooks. I don't think my parents were crazy about buying things from infomercials.

I don't think they were a British thing. Either way, my mother is a well-off biology teacher, so I am free from accusation.
