Thats the only dialogue I have read, it was also the first I read. I tried to keep reading others but they all sucked in compared to that one, so I just stopped reading plato and went back to reading Thomas Mann and watching The Simpsons (the classic seasons)

Hey guis, you know how giving birth is a major theme of this dialogue? Well, this sort of giving birth is described very similarly in Taoist alchemical texts. Socrates, each time they think they may have conceived, says they need to check if it is a real birth in the soul or just a ‘wind egg’, while the birthgiving of Taoism is dependent on breathing techniques.
