Because the Great Man theory is provingly bullshit. History as a whole is nothing but brownian motion of millions of people who at large want a place to sleep, things to eat, and vaginas to fuck, it's a small wonder that the greatest influence on history came from simplistic works of little artistic value. Bible and Manifesto were used in a very practical way, they were the How To Live And Think For Dummies of their time
