What's the smuggest and most ignorant book you've read?

I downloaded the epub of that Greek gay guy who's been over the news, Y-something

50% is smug 'I am the greatest' that was a chore to even skim, the other 50% was supposedly scientific facts sourced with footnotes where the footnotes reveal the sources to be press releases from beauty clinics

I just read a couple books by the FBI guy that show mindhunter is based on. He takes full credit for every case.

I find a lot of true crime books by lawyers or cops involved are maximum smug. Bugliosi comes off looking very very good in all his books.
