People are going off on him "muh stupid" as if other /fit/ icons were brainiacs
He does tend to fall for every "gimmick" there is, but you could pick up much worse advice on /fit/ for working out
I see him as that beefy not-so-bright friend you like because he's just upbeat about life and open to new stuff

Obviously, if you start looking for philosophy advice from Joe rogan and workout routines from Michel Houellbecq, you're setting yourself up for disappointment

Generally I like his podcasts if the guest is good. He tends to be very agreeable which comes off as unauthentic sometimes. As long as the guest isn't a women or liberal it is usually fine.
