Holy fuck, lit. What the fuck do I do about this fucking humidity? It's warped all my books, and I'm trying to save my easton press collection by keeping it flattened until I get a dehumidifier. Has anyone else had this problem?

Where the fuck do you live? Hawaii? Florida?

Get a dehumidifer. I used to empty mine of a gallon of water every fucking day, even in an air conditioned windowless room. Plug it in, let it run while you're out.

Also those books are shit it's okay if they die.

Then you shouldn't have humidity issues, assuming your house is properly insulated and vented. Look into having a proper HVAC system installed. ~35% humidity is ideal for books.

Are you Indian or East Asian? I see homes that cook with steam a lot have rampant humidity issues. With work I generally recommend them put a fume hood over the stove or build a detached insulated structure for doing the cooking.

If it's going to take a while to get a dehumidifier, hang some bags of softener salt over a bucket to catch the moisture.
