Can you guys recommend me books on American Presidents?

I recently have been reading about Andrew Jackson and I'm now interested in American presidents more.

The Life of Andrew Jackson, President of the United States by William Cobbett

Lincoln: The Man by Edgar Lee Masters

Autobiographies of Theodore Roosevelt and Richard Nixon.

There aren't any adequate biographies of Jefferson or Washington that I've come across.

William Cobbett is one of the best writers in the English language. His biography of Jackson should be read for that reason alone.

Read Henry Adams on the administrations of both J. Adams and Jefferson. Also, Schlesinger's The Age of Jackson and de Tocqueville's Democracy in America, which was written after a lengthy tour of Jacksonian America.

Jefferson's letters, JFK's letters and pre-presidential diaries, Reagan's letters, H.W.'s prepresidential diaries from china

The Adams-Jefferson letters should be in curricula.

I haven't read it but Henry Adams has written probably the best Victorian style history of the early 19th century United States.
