Brandon Sanderson is great creating stories, but he is a really bad writer.

He's my favorite fantasy writer so who knows, not like I care about popular opinions but god damn, I loved Mistborn more than any other fantasy series I've ever read (tolkien aside, it's like comparing anything with the bible)

I think he's a great. Simple narrative, great atmosphere. Maybe a little to heavy on the exposition and description departments, but it works to give the scenes exactly the fell he wants to.
If i have one big problem with him, tho, it's the redundancy. He explains the same important things at least a docen times per book and it gets old fast, specially when you binge-read sagas. Do we really need to be reminded that Pewter enhances physical strenght on allomancers very fucking time they use it? Seriously.
Otherwise, i think he's got a pretty unusual talent. I think his stories would really work as animations. I can't help but really think "Man, if the guys who made Avatar/Voltron took on these things we could have some of the greatest animated series in history".

So yes, i think he's one of the best authors out there.
