my life has become day in, day out monotony. there are a handful of things that give me healthy enjoyment, but the majority of the week I'm bored and depressed and aimless. how do I get out of this cycle of ennui? I want to read and work on creative projects more, but even that is hard to do.

help me get out of this rut, /lit/

I'm trying to learn another language but have a terrible memory. I should be studying instead I'm wasting time. if I start reading another book it will take forever and I don't want to put off learning gaelic so kind of just stuck not doing either which sucks

Have you sacrificed less meaning for more money or "security"? This is often the culprit.

I am wondering if when University begins again I will no longer feel the days are so monotonous.
