If only this were our get... Stupid flood detection.

I seemed to have lost my copy, and I have the itch to flip through some of the pages to find whatever could be tucked within...

I remember finding an interesting typo where the Navidson report shifts to first person, making me wonder if Zapano is Tom.

>> No.1000098

I don't think anyone's found anything beyond the obvious.

Dear Zampano:
What did you lose?

"A woman who will love my ironies."

>> No.1000117

Known some call is air am.

The part where Navidson almost gets himself lost when first exploring the house still gets to me. I think a lot of us have had that creeping dread and panic of things slipping from our grasp.

Everybody knows Zampano and Karen and Pelafina had an epic threesome that gave birth to the House.

I mean, everybody knows that.

Hey /lit/le girls, I was wondering if any of you could help me out.

I have a ton of unread books I've been buying en masse, and my library and room is horribly messy. I thought it would be a great idea to tick off my reading list by having an app on my phone (well, I use an iPhone) that had a 'virtual library' look to it.

I used to have Delicious Library for my Mac, but I want a library in my pocket. I don't intend to read these books as ebooks, I just want to see the covers and titles so I can tell myself to read and finish.

Do any of you know any apps or suggestions? (PEN AND PAPER, KEEP A FOLDED NOTE IN YOUR POCKET AT ALL TIMES, etc)

Pic related: this was Delicious Monster for the iPhone. The app got yanked. :(

I have to wonder what the actual pages of the Navidson Report were like. House of Leaves is what Johnny compiled, and the editing and sorting of those documents damaged his mind.

So, is HoL just the ramblings of a blind man and the fragile fool who tried to make sense of it?

>> No.1000186

>>1000175
Remember also that HoL is the frustration of The Editors trying to compile what the fragile schizophrenic put together from the blind man's ramblings.

This is assuming that Zampano actually wrote the Navidson Record.

>> No.1000206

>>1000186

Huh... You have to wonder what happened to those editors and what they've inserted into the book.

In a way, HoL can be a labyrinth formed from broken minds, growing with every attempt to decipher its meaning.

I should find my copy, write notes here and there, and then give it to someone else to solve and hopefully start a chain.

>> No.1000208

You know one thing that I still don't understand?

...Why was Zampano's diary (in the Appendices) written in fifteen or so different handwritings?

...And who wrote the Pelican Poems?

Sorry. Those are two things.

what as the significance?

whole book was a waste of my time

Zampano or Johnny Truant. They both have made comments about a woman's ankles in both their text sections.

What the fuck was the check mark supposed to signify???

That's my question.

Does that mean Pelafina wrote the book?

>> No.1000256

>>1000243

No, the checkmark was what Johnny was supposed to mail Pelafina. Johnny probably scribbled it in.

The checkmark is also when the book's formatting alters.

I read the first sixteen pages of the Sam bit to this girl I like as a bedtime story. Results were mixed. There is nothing to dissect, Only Revolutions is spam poetry.

It was like a really bad Canterbury Tales homage.
