4chan was not the reason Trump became president but it was meming his candidacy from the very beginning and as such exerted notable influence over it something that would eventual win a presidential election. I didn’t very much care from him as president but his campaign in 2016 and victory shattered the pre-Trump political landscape in America and Europe, and broke the confidence the elite had in their “Guaranteed victory”, which has displayed increasingly erratic action from 2 presidential impeachment’s over nothing burgers, openly allowing riots in the streets, and stealing a political election. This will be the death of them.
