>At least be honest and say that was your goal.
You wanted to discredit my point based on that.

No dude.
You are jumping the gun because you have a bunch of people talking to you at once and you missed that I didn't say anything about your conclusion. You be honest.

Now you think me correcting you is a rhetorical move, when it isn't, it's just the truth but I can't prove it.

You should honestly just ignore the people who have a hard on for the west being number one.

*I know nothing of western comics.

I'm sure I'm forgetting some good manga. Seriously though I would like some more artsy manga. I can't expect good plot and dialogue anymore so I'd prefer just something nice to look at.

/lit/, I'm not very well read and trying to get an idea of where my tastes are. I'm reading short stories to do that for right now, but I'm also about to finish reading through the Greek's fiction and then decide where to move on to. Problem is I don't know, though I think i'm just going to stick with literature originally written in English.

So far I really enjoy Hemingway, Carver, and Salinger but I don't like David Foster Wallace or Chekhov. I also like Nabakov's Lolita but not Proust's Swann's Way.

tldr; what about AFTER you finish with the Greeks?
