Sweden is not Liberal, it's Social-democratic. As a matter of fact, they wouldn't have fucked up that much if they were liberal. Democracy is to some extent always the rule of the rabble. A Liberal Democracy is the least lethal in the spectrum because it will not attempt to tell you what to do in cases not related to society. Like sexuality, how you bring up your kids (to some extent at least), whether you have to pay for TV even if you choose not to have one, or whether you have to pay for "security" you don't want to have.
